MEET THE LEGENDS

Robert dos Remedios

MA, CSCS, MSCC

Robert dos Remedios, has been in strength and conditioning  coach for over 35 years. After completing his competitive football career at the University of California, Berkeley, in 1988, he began training athletes full-time.

"Coach Dos" has a master's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Biomechanics from California State University, Northridge, has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the NSCA since 1990, and has been a Master Strength and Conditioning Collegiate Coach (MSCC) as recognized by the CSCCa.  

A highly sought-after international speaker and consultant, Coach Dos is knowledgeable on various conditioning topics, such as Olympic Weightlifting applications, sport-speed development, explosive training, and CHAOS Speed Training. He has been a Professor of Kinesiology and Physical Education and Director of Speed, Strength, and Conditioning at College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, CA, since 1999.

In 2006, he received the National Strength and Conditioning Association's prestigious Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Professional of the Year award. This award is given to the top collegiate strength coach in the country (as voted on by his peers).  

Coach Dos is a NIKE Master Trainer and serves as Director of Performance for the National Sports Performance Association (NSPA).

Additionally, he contributes to Men's Health regularly. Coach Dos' first book, Men's Health Power Training (Rodale Books), was released in July 2006. His next book, Men's Health Cardio Strength Training, was released in December 2009. Both went on to become worldwide bestsellers. 

Lee Taft

Lee Taft, known as "The Speed Guy," is a renowned figure in athletic movement training. He is the CEO and Founder of LeeTaft.com. With over 35 years of experience, he has pioneered groundbreaking speed development techniques for athletes from youth to professional levels.

Lee's methodologies, strategies, principles, and drills have earned global recognition for their effectiveness in enhancing multidirectional speed. Performance facilities, universities, and professional teams worldwide, including NFL, NBA, and MLB teams, regularly hire Lee's expertise to train their coaches on his innovative speed training principles.

Through coaching, consulting, certifications, and speed training products, Lee has empowered thousands of athletes to achieve greater speed, strength, and injury resistance, solidifying his position as one of the foremost authorities in speed training.

In 2003, Lee revolutionized the performance industry by releasing "Groundbreaking Athletic Movement," introducing innovative techniques for multidirectional speed. His emphasis on concepts like the "Plyo Step," "Hip Turn," and athletic stance has reshaped how athletic movement speed is taught and understood.

Beyond his contributions to athlete development, Lee is deeply committed to mentoring sports performance trainers. He has dedicated significant time teaching his multidirectional speed methods to coaches and fitness professionals worldwide. His philosophy revolves around the belief that mastering foundational movement is essential for long-term athletic success.
